Ceramic Window Tinting is a great way to enhance the look of your vehicle while keeping you cool and protected from the inside of your car. In Hawaii, we have sun all year long and it is a no-brainer to have your vehicle ceramic tinted.
There are many benefits of ceramic tint but the main ones are heat rejection/reduction, 99% UV rejection and privacy. Heat Rejection/Reduction will allow your a/c to cool the interior of your car much faster making your vehicle run more efficiently.

Ceramic coating
Paint protection has advanced in recent years. With Ceramic Coatings being at the top tier of paint protection, it is the best protection you can have for your car. Ceramic Coatings won’t wash off or melt off like traditional waxes. When applied correctly, it chemically bonds to the surface and pores of the paint creating a semi-permanent layer that is more resistant to environmental fall out and contamination.
With your car treated with ceramic coating, you will enjoy the slickness, shine and gloss it gives your paint. Not to mention, your vehicle will be a lot easier to clean because of its water beading effect, self-cleaning abilities and dirt repellency.

The Process
Whether your vehicle is used or new, all cars will go through an in-depth prep process. We start off by giving your vehicle a complete detailed hand-wash starting with the wheels, tires and fender wells. After that, we give the vehicle a thorough hand wash to remove loose dirt and grime. Once we have the vehicle washed, we go through our 2-Step Paint Decontamination Process which includes a chemical decontamination that removes water spots, fall out and calcium/mineral build-up. Finally, we end the 2-Step Paint Decontamination process with a clay bar treatment to restore smoothness to the paint. After our 2-Step Decontamination Process we perform a one-step heavy machine polish to restore shine, enhance gloss and remove minor imperfections such as swirls and scratches. We also provide full paint correction services, at additional cost, if desired.

It is a durable thermal polyurethane plastic film which provides durability and protection from punctures and road debris and unforeseen minor scuffs/scratches. It is often constructed 8 mils thick with a glossy finish with a hydrophobic top coat that helps repel water, dirt and dust.
THE PROCESS
We start off the PPF installation process by giving your vehicle a thorough detailed wash to remove any loose dirt and debris from the surface and in cracks and crevices. We continue with a 2-step decontamination process on the areas that are receiving PPF. Our 2-step decontamination process includes a chemical decontamination which removes water spots and other calcium/mineral build-up followed by a clay bar treatment to smooth the paint. Depending on the condition of the paint, we perform a quick polish to bring out more shine and gloss!
Once the decontamination process is complete, we utilize our plotter and PPF cutting software to pre-cut the PPF according to your vehicle’s year, make, model and trim level. We meticulously install the PPF onto your vehicle by using various methods and techniques. Once PPF is applied, we post-heat all edges and seams so it stays locked in.
